Seeking a more authentic, outdoor and homesteading lifestyle, Dr. Morgan and his wife Jen (school nurse, Craftsbury Academy) relocated to South Albany, VT in 2022. Regular visits to the NEK had convinced Tim and Jen that this was to be their home after raising their 5 children in Massachusetts. Dr. Morgan brings with him his 26 years of professional experience and looks forward to working with the residents of Craftsbury and surrounding communities.


Dr. Morgan strongly believes that quality, effective health care is only possible if there is a mutual respect between the doctor and patient, with un-biased, intelligible communication, coupled with clear, realistic and attainable goal setting. 


Throughout this site, Dr. Morgan provides a background of his treatment methods, philosophical foundations, and vignettes of research that serve as a guiding principles for his practice. This effort and information is being provided for the sake of transparency, and to foster a level of understanding and confidence in the site's visitors. As pertinent research becomes available, this site will be updated, as will Dr. Morgan's treatment protocols.

Dr. Tim Morgan

Chiropractic Physician

Professor of Exercise Science

As the basis of his sports therapy practice, Dr. Morgan combines a deep understanding of human functional biomechanics with excellent diagnostic skills and a unique combination of manual and movement based corrective therapies. This clinical approach allows for the prescription of innovative, functionally based strategies in the treatment of a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions.


Dr. Morgan obtained his doctorate degree in 1995 with honors from the Los Angeles College of Chiropractic, and his baccalaureate degree in 1990 from Westfield State University, where he played NCAA varsity hockey. In 1999, he was awarded certification status as a Chiropractic Sports Physician (CCSP) by the American Board of Chiropractic Sports Physicians (ACBSP). He continued his post-doctorate education from 1999 through 2001, and served as chairperson of the Sports Physician Diplomate Program offered by the National University of Health Sciences. Additionally, in 2001 he was certified as a Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) with the National Strength & Conditioning Association (NSCA), and has earned the Certified Clinical Nutritionist (CCN) distinction from the  International & American Associations of Clinical Nutritionists (IAACN).


In 2005, Dr. Morgan accepted a faculty assignment within the Exercise and Health Sciences department at the University of Massachusetts Boston. Dr. Morgan instructs courses in subjects including Kinesiology, Strength & Conditioning, Conditioning for Performance and Applied Biomechanics. He has lectured for the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), the Boston Sports Medicine & Performance Group (BSMPG), and is an editorial board member of Training & Conditioning Magazine.


The American Association of Cycling Team Doctors (AACTD) granted Dr. Morgan Elite membership status in 2007 in recognition of his professional training and his past experience working with professional cycling teams and for his continued commitment to the sport at the local level.


Dr. Morgan has been involved with several professional partnerships, and is currently consulting and practicing out of his Wellesley Hills, MA clinic. He has worked with athletes at all levels, including the NHL, NFL, NBA, MLB, NCAA, pro cycling, Ironman, and Olympic levels. Additionally, he works with local youth, high school, club and masters athletes. Dr. Morgan resides in Holliston, MA, with his two daughters. He continues to compete at the masters level in both hockey and cycling.
